• Boat and job details that you choose to add, including boat information, the work you need doing, and the general location or marina where the boat is kept.
• Quotes, messages, and work records created as part of posting jobs, quoting for work, and recording what was done.
• Usage data collected automatically when you use the site, such as pages visited and your approximate location, gathered through analytics (see below).

How we use your information

• To run the service, including matching jobs with relevant vendors and delivering quotes.
• To send notifications about activity on your jobs and quotes, such as when you receive a new quote.
• To keep the service secure and to prevent misuse.
• To understand how HandyHarbour is used and to improve it over time. This may include measuring things like the number of jobs created, how many are completed, and how long jobs take to complete.

Information shared between owners and vendors

HandyHarbour only works if owners and vendors can share enough to do business. When you post a job, details about the boat and its location are shared with vendors so they can decide whether to quote. When a vendor quotes, their business details are shared with the owner. Please only include information you are comfortable sharing for this purpose.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit and your approximate location. This helps us see what is working and where to improve. You can find out more in Google's privacy policy.

How long we keep your information

We keep your account and job information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that records of completed work remain available to the people involved and so we can meet our legal obligations.

Your rights
